Website Design: WNC Appraisal Services, Inc

WNC Appraisal Services, Inc is a commercial real estate appraisal company specializing in valuation and consulting in western North Carolina. Founded in 2007, WNC Appraisal built its clientele and reputation primarily on a referral basis. They decided that they needed an online presence and in 2015, they approached Spark Media Collective to design a website that is primarily informational and appropriate for their demographic. We also provided the content for the site (writing copy & image curation).

GOAL: To create a website for WNC Appraisal Services, Inc that highlights their services, experience and knowledge of their service area. The overall goal of the website is to provide enough information to encourage the prospective client to contact WNC Appraisal Services, Inc for an initial consultation.

RESULT: The final product is fairly traditional in in design and color, with a few modern elements and a splash of color to keep it up to date. We went with a streamlined design that is not cluttered, but still informational. Our focus was on concise copy, appropriate images and intuitive design. We included “call-to-action” buttons on each page to facilitate contacting WNC Appraisal Services and pulled the blue from their logo to make the button “pop” on the screen.
